Birthdays are so special. Turning one is a complete milestone! As parents we make a huge deal out of our children turning one. Meanwhile, they have no idea what’s going on. The celebration/heart ache is for us parents – particularly us Mothers. They say “the days are long and the years are short.” That rings true when we watch our little angels turn ONE. I know for myself looking at my children I wondered how I could slow the years. It’s so important to stop the day and take those PICTURES! In time it’s really all we have – a story to tell and pictures to help us remember.
